The Plenary Meeting of the European Judicial Network (EJN) in Criminal Matters discusses matters on judicial cooperation.
The 67th plenary meeting of the European Judicial Network (EJN) in criminal matters, hosted by Ireland under its EU Council Presidency, will convene EJN contact points from all Member States to reinforce cooperation and improve the practical functioning of the Network. The EJN facilitates direct, practical, and bilateral cooperation between judicial authorities, prosecutors, and Ministries of Justice to combat cross-border crime. It specialises in resolving legal issues through one-to-one contact and undertakes preparatory work for judicial cooperation. The Plenary meeting allows EJN contact points to share experiences and provides a forum for the discussion of practical and legal problems encountered by the Member States in the context of judicial cooperation.
