The meeting of Directors-General for Vocational Education and Training (DGVT) will focus on best practice in green, digital and construction skills.
The DGVT meeting will bring together Directors-General responsible for VET from EU Member States, representatives of the European Commission and invited speakers for high-level discussions on key VET priorities in Europe.
Directors-General will explore how VET systems can support and enable the major workforce transformation associated with the green transition. There will be group discussions on themes such as the just transition, how national education and training strategies can support the green transition and support digital and AI as enablers of the green transition.
The meeting will also showcase the Irish Further Education and Training system and promote the exchange of best practices and learnings from Member States.
