A gathering of European public service environmental lawyers to discuss key legal developments, share expertise, and strengthen collaboration on environmental law issues.
This meeting of the Network of European Environmental Lawyers (NEEL) will bring together public service environmental lawyers from across Europe as well as relevant members of the EU institutions. NEEL is a voluntary network.
It will include contributions and presentations from academics, civil servants, lawyers and members of the judiciary, as well as the Attorney General of Ireland, providing a multidisciplinary perspective on key developments in environmental law and policy. It will offer an opportunity to network, share ideas and views on the interpretation, application and enforcement of all aspects of EU environmental law.
The objective of the meeting (and the Network generally) is to strengthen coordination and support knowledge sharing within the Network.
