The SEMIC Conference is the European Commission’s annual flagship event on semantic interoperability, organised as part of the Interoperable Europe initiative. It provides a Europe‑wide platform where public administrations, EU institutions, and digital‑government experts exchange knowledge on how to produce, manage, share, and reuse data to improve digital public services.

The conference will explore how interoperability, shared data standards and digital collaboration can improve public service across Europe, with a particular focus on supporting the implementation of the Interoperable Europe Act.

Bringing together representatives from public administration, EU institutions, government, industry, academia, civil society and the technology sector, the event will provide a platform for collaboration, knowledge sharing and practical discussion on Europe's digital future.

The conference will also showcase innovative approaches, emerging technologies and real-world examples that support cross-border digital services and strengthen cooperation across Europe.
