The theme of this year’s annual conference of the European Society for Prevention Research is “Innovation in Prevention to Support Health Equity”.

This conference offers an opportunity to showcase cutting edge prevention research across health, education, social care, justice, and community settings, to strengthen cross sector collaboration and to bridge gaps between science, policy, and practice.

The conference will build on insights from previous years while addressing contemporary European prevention priorities and focus on innovative, evidence-based drug prevention and broader health prevention strategies for children and young people.

The programme will include a pre-conference day on 15 September, featuring workshops. From 16 to 18 September, the main conference will take place, including keynote and parallel sessions and will conclude with an award and closing ceremony.

The conference will be attended by prevention and public health researchers, practitioners in health, education, and community sectors, policymakers, NGOs and civil society actors, early career scientists and international organisations.
