The Coordination Committee in the Area of Police and Judicial Cooperation in Criminal Matters (CATS) is a senior-level advisory committee focused on cross-cutting and strategically important topics related to EU level police and judicial cooperation in criminal matters. It is attended by Directors General and Directors from the Ministries of Justice and the Ministries of the Interior of the Member States, along with senior representatives from the General Secretariat of the Council, and the European Commission.
