The European Food Safety Authority Advisory Group on Biomarkers (AGoB) is a specialised group of experts established under the EFSA Advisory Forum with the primary aim of supporting guidance development on the use of biomarkers of effect in regulatory risk assessment. The Biomarkers group acts in an advisory capacity, providing input to the activities performed by EFSA together with other EU Agencies to develop guidance on the use of biomarkers of effect in risk assessment.
This meeting of senior officials will allow for the exchange of views and experiences on approaches related to improving efficiency and effectiveness and harmonisation of enforcement of food law within the EU.
