The EFSA Advisory Forum drives innovation by aligning Member States on risk assessment, fostering collaboration and harmonisation across Europe.
The European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) consists of senior leaders in European Member States Food Safety Authorities.
The EFSA’s Advisory Forum is the highest body for scientific consultation between EFSA and the Member States. Meeting participants are senior leaders on risk assessment in each Member State along with EFSA senior managers and its Executive Director who chairs the meeting. The Advisory Forum ensures alignment between EFSA and Member States on risk assessment activities, to strengthen the European Risk Assessment Agenda.
This meeting is essential for the smooth operation of the European Union Food Safety system and is an opportunity for Ireland to demonstrate its commitment to Food Safety and the European project. There will be senior officials and representatives from EU Member States in attendance.
