High Level Conference: Listening to Children and Young people - challenges in challenging settings

The conference sessions will explore how children and young people are currently being included in policies, services and practices across Europe, and highlight the challenges that need to be addressed to make their inclusion easier and more impactful.

The conference will incorporate a consultation on young people’s experience of participation and showcase good practice examples in relation to the inclusion of children and young people in decision making.

Delegates will include children and young people, government representatives, EU Member States, policymakers, and practitioners.

The conference will contribute directly to identifying key issues and future priorities for the participation of children and young people in decision-making, including when a service or policy is implemented in a challenging or sensitive context.
