Ireland’s new membership of the Equal Pay International Coalition is marked by pay parity events attended by academics, researchers and officials in Dublin.
The first part of the day will acknowledge Ireland’s first year as a member of the Equal Pay International Coalition (EPIC). The event will highlight efforts to achieve pay parity for men and women and discuss what steps can be taken towards reducing the gender pay gap. This event will be attended by national and international officials working to drive progress in this area.
The latter part of the day will be devoted to the Edward Phelan lecture. The National University of Ireland and the International Labour Organisation (ILO) have collaborated in organising this lecture biannually since 2013. This lecture will be attended by academics, researchers, and national and international officials.
