This event is a meeting of the Council’s Budget Committee for EU Budget Attachés from all EU Member States.
The Budget Committee prepares the Council's decisions on the annual EU budget, including its negotiation, implementation, and amendment. It works on EU financial legislation applicable to the general budget of the Union.
The Committee handles budget discharges and coordinates with other Working Parties regarding expenditure and the Multiannual Financial Framework (MFF).
The meeting will be an opportunity for delegates to connect in an informal manner and there will be a programme of cultural events in addition to the primary objective of the working session.
