The Heads of HTA Agencies Group (HAG) is a forum to raise, highlight and discuss matters of strategic importance that are of relevance for Health Technology Assessment bodies across Europe.
The HAG currently comprises 36 member agencies from across 25 European Economic Area countries.
Attendees of HAG meetings typically include the Head of each HTA agency, the Chair, Co-Chairs and Secretariat of the HAG, along with senior representatives from the HTA Regulation Coordination Group and the European Commission.
The HAG plays an important role in supporting strong partnerships, promoting effective and efficient solutions for a European HTA collaboration, and enhancing the impact of HTA on decision-making and on European healthcare systems.
A key objective of the HAG meeting under the Irish Presidency is to highlight the ongoing cooperation, coordination and implementation of the EU HTA Regulation in addition to exploring issues of strategic importance for all members of the HAG, in particular as these relate to the implementation of the Regulation.
