Informal Working Party for the Financial Services Attachés from all EU Member States.
The informal Financial Services Attaché trip, held every six months by the country holding the Presidency of the Council of the European Union, plays a strategically significant role in shaping EU wide financial regulation, consumer protection, and the development of the internal market.
At their core, these informal gatherings provide a structured opportunity for EU Member States to discuss key legislative projects related to financial services, including reducing administrative barriers, simplifying regulations, and strengthening consumer protections. The delegates will have the opportunity to exchange views on current policy developments and share practical experiences. The Informal Financial Services Attaché Meeting shapes EU financial legislation and enhances cross-Member State cooperation in the financial services sector.
There will be a programme of cultural events in addition to the primary objective of the working sessions.
