A biannual meeting of trade economists from EU Member Sates.
The Trade Economists Network gathers economists from the EU administrations responsible for trade policy and related research institutions at the initiative of the European Commission.
Co-organised by the European Commission and the Irish Presidency, the meeting provides a forum for trade economists from across the EU to discuss the impact of current trade policy issues, present their own analyses and papers, and to share knowledge and methodologies. As such, it serves as a forum for peer-learning and the promotion of evidenced-base trade policy development.
