The NCAPR group meets during each Presidency to support competent authorities on the pricing and reimbursement of medicines, with a focus on ensuring sustainable patient access and fostering innovation across European health systems.
The NCAPR Group plenary brings together public healthcare payers across the EEA, fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing.
These activities support the work of competent authorities dealing with the pricing and reimbursement of medicines at a national level, as well as enabling formulation of joint positions, in order to ensure sustainable access to medicines for all patients and to stimulate innovation across public health systems in Europe. The NCAPR Groups is supported by the European Commission through DG SANTE, which provides the secretariat and contributes to the agenda on EU projects and developments of interest. NCAPR is highlighted in the Draghi Report as an important forum contributing to promoting access to medicines.
