The 2026 ESD Forum will invite policy makers and practitioners from across Europe’s education sectors to share and explore the contribution that ESD can contribute to the EU green, climate, cohesion, democratic and peace agendas.
The Forum on Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) is an annual event under Ireland’s ESD to 2030 Strategy, the implementation of which is sponsored by three government Departments, reflecting its lifelong learning approach.
The Forum will build on the national approach and facilitate international discussion, sharing perspectives and learnings across education practitioners.
Building on previous years, there will be a strong youth input to the 2026 Forum.
