This is an informal meeting of the EU Directors General for Development.
The meeting on 9-10 September will bring together Directors General and their equivalents in Foreign and Development Co-operation Ministries from EU Member States, as well as senior officials from the European Commission and European External Action Service, to discuss policy priorities and strategic direction for EU development co-operation and humanitarian assistance. The meeting will also facilitate preparation ahead of the informal meeting of the Foreign Affairs Council (Development) which is scheduled to take place in October.
