An interparliamentary conference bringing together Members of Parliament from the EU Member States and Members of the European Parliament to discuss current policy issues relating to the EU's common foreign and security policy.
The Joint Committee on Foreign Affairs and Trade and the Joint Committee on Defence and National Security will co-chair the Interparliamentary Conference for the Common Foreign and Security Policy and the Common Security and Defence Policy. It is a forum Members of EU national parliaments and the European Parliament to discuss and exchange information related to the EU's common foreign and security policy and common security and defence policy. Experts and politicians from Ireland and Europe will be invited to exchange viewpoints and best practices.
